Choosing the Right Frames

This guide will help you choose the correct frame size and shape for your face and also help you understand your prescription.

Frame Measurement Guide

  1. FRAME WIDTH
    Total width of spectacle arm to arm.
  2. NOSE BRIDGE
    The area that sits directly on top of the nose.
  3. LENS DEPTH
    Measurement from top of the frame to the bottom of the frame,
    (lens area).

  4. LENS DIAMETER
    Measurement of the lens from left to right.
  5. ARM LENGTH
    There are three arm lengths that can be regarded as standard; 135mm, 140mm and 145mm

Achieving the best fit

Arm Measurement Numbers
Take your existing pair of glasses and look for some numbers that are printed on inside of the arm of your glasses. On one arm you will see something like this Arm Measurement Numbers or sometimes can be displayed like Arm Measurement Numbers without the arm length.

You don't need to match these numbers exactly, just as long as these measurements are close enough (2mm either way) you will more than likely find a comfortable pair of glasses to suit you.
